Design & Renovations
From our first meeting with you, straight through to the final photoshoot and staging every detail, you can depend on us to offer insightful design solutions, be a constant advocate for you at every step of the process, and bring your vision to life in a timely and budget-respectful way. If you don’t have a vision, that’s okay too! We are bursting with ideas and inspiration and will provide you with a plethora of options, layouts, and ideas so we can create a plan and layout that will leave you inspired.
We offer everything from single-room makeovers to full-home renovations and design.
SIWJ has built strong relationships with trusted contractors and professionals but we are happy to work with a contractor of your choice if need be.

Room Styling
Your room is painted, the hardwood has been updated, you’ve purchased a new sofa … yet you are still feeling like something is missing. This is where SIWJ comes in for the final touches that bring it all together. A lot goes into ‘styling’ a room and usually, it’s the small things that have the biggest impact - how you lay pieces out, what items are grouped together, including a combination of textures, incorporating varying heights, etc.
We understand how important it is to tie it all together, and that is why we are here to help you will those finishing touches.
Space Planning
Your room is feeling too long and narrow? You’re wondering if you should put furniture in front of a window? How large should the carpet be? And how high should that picture be hung?
A lot goes into making a space look and feel cohesive. The biggest mistakes often seen in dysfunctional spaces are the scale of the furniture and the placement of these pieces. SIWJ will bring ideas to use your space to its full potential and even share some of the best design secrets!

Colour Consultations
Choosing the right colour for any room is difficult and there is so much to consider - lighting, cabinetry, flooring, undertones. If you’re stuck, we would be happy to pop by with our trusted colour fan and assist you in selecting a group of colours that work well together. We know our colours!

With the pace of life these days and the number of to-dos thrown into a day, it can be really challenging to stay organized and it can be easy for your home to become chaotic.
Our team is filled with experts in, not only design but organization too. We thrive in coming up with practical solutions to help keep your home organized and stress-free - whether it be your front entrance, washroom, kitchen, electronic storage, mail system, or closets - we can suggest methods for managing the flow of ‘stuff in and out of your home and ensure that everything has a pretty place to be housed.
